Reflection:
For Standard 7, I have included several artifacts. In the header of this page, you will find images of tools that I use often in my classes, Doctopus and Goobric. These are two tools that I learned about from a professional development session. I have implemented these resources enough in my classroom that I have recently been asked to teach my co-workers about them during technology sessions at our professional development days.
I have also included an image of my registration confirmation to attend the fall ITEC conference in Des Moines. ITEC is a technology conference designed for Iowa educators. I attended one day of the conference this year and gained many new tips and tricks.
These images are evidence of my mastery of Standard 7. They show that I push my self to continually grow and learn, that I work collaboratively to improve professional practice, that I apply research and skill from professional development to improve my teaching practice, and that I establish professional development plans based on needs aligned to the Iowa Teaching Standards and district professional development initiatives.
